ARE YOU ON OUR WEB SITE YET?
As you can see, we are using our web site to do many new things designed to help out with casting and auditions.
Many clients now look strictly at web sites to choose talent to either audition or book. They either download pictures or request headshots via email because of the time it saves them. To accommodate this increasing demand we have set up our own web pages of pictures for talent selection in movies, commercials and conventions. [VIEW TALENT]
In order for your picture to be posted on the website you must submit your
original 8 x 10 glossy headshot along with the yearly fee of $100
and a Web Site Photo Submission form. An additional benefit is that if you are temporarily out of pictures we can print one quickly when we get a call for talent packets to send by regular mail.
The del Corral Agency is in the process of a mass
mailing project. We will be
sending out letters to Casting Directors, Talent
Scouts, Advertising Agencies, Production Companies and
Film Companies telling them about the great talent
pool we have in Louisiana. The letter will also
encourage the use of the many wonderful locations
available in Louisiana for print, film and
commercials. We will be asking them to check out our
web site for the exceptional talent pool that del
Corral represents for use in any of their upcoming
projects.
Please make it a priority to have your picture
included on our web site or you may
miss out on a great opportunity to be seen by the top
people in the industries.
YOUR VIDEO REEL
If you are an established actor with at least one small speaking role
in a movie or TV production, we recommend you include your reel on our web site.
The fee for this service is $150.
If you have video footage that needs professional editing to make your demo reel,
contact Gabriel Dayan 303 495 5608. The fee for this service is $350 (inclusive of
upload to this website and one DVD.) More DVD copies are available at $10 each.
If you have no reel as yet but took part in a production
for future TV broadcast, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to airtime
by emailing our webmaster.
If you have previously recorded a production on VHS tape, you may drop the tape at our office
together with your fee and collect the tape a few days later. We can also work from a professionally produced DVD.
However, please do not make a copy of a VHS tape or burn a DVD yourself using the free software that came with
your computer's DVD burner. The result would be jerky motion and/or poor picture quality on the processed video.

TALENT FILE
Every talent registered with our agency has a file. This file is made up of personal contact information, physical specifications, a resume of work and a headshot or composite card.
It is the sole responsibility of the talent to keep the agent updated with new addresses, new phone numbers, physical changes (i.e., a long haired brunette is now a short haired blonde) and so on. Headshots should always be kept up to date and replaced. Resumes should always contain all current training and experience.
If you have moved and have a new phone number please send us a note in the mail, fax or email us the information.
PAYMENT POLICY
Many people have called with questions about our payment policies. This is something we discuss in our initial consultation as well as in all of our workshops.
Expect payment for any job that you do to be made in 90 days. This is the industry standard for non-union jobs. We are at the bottom of a very long payment process so you must be patient.
The del Corral agency only cuts checks on the second of every month. If we receive payment for your job by the cut-off date of the twenty-fifth then a check will be ready for you on the second of the month.
There are two ways to get your check. You can either pick it up at the agency, only on Thursday anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. or you can send us a self-addressed stamped envelope with a note saying you are authorizing the release of the check by mail.
To see if you have a check just call the office around the second of every month, beginning 30 days after you have completed your job. If you do not have a check then call back the following month around the second. You are booked as an independant contractor through the del Corral Agency, thererfore we must receive payment from our client before we can pay our talent.
POLICIES
del Corral prides itself on its good reputation and we are proud of our professional and well trained talent. Also, a part of our professionalism includes our guidelines that we take very seriously. They are in place for our protection as well as yours. When they are not followed then we must implement fines. If you have any questions about the guidelines and fines please call the agency and we will send you a copy.
